Biography of George W. Close of Kellogg, Iowa
Farmer, Sec. 21, P. O. Kellogg. He was born in Albany County., New York in 1805. He moved to Scott County, Indiana in 1818, going next to Hamilton County Ohio, in 1826. He went to Pontiac, Michigan in 1829 where he contracted and jobbed on the building and repairing roads for fours years.
