C. H. Bishop, farmer, section 25, P. O. Hamburg; born in Knox county, Ohio, October 12, 1839, where he resided until 1846. He then moved with his father, who was a physician, to Marion county, Ohio, and remained three years. In 1851 he went to Bureau county, Illinois thence to Stark county, same state, where his mother died, thence to Henry county where he began life for himself.
