Biography of George W. Anthony of Corning, Iowa
George W. Anthony, contractor and builder at Corning, was born in Bureau county, Illinois, near Wyanet, the son of M. D., a farmer, and Jane (Kinney) Anthony, natives of the State of New York, and still living, now in Adair county, Iowa, whither they moved when George was fourteen years old.
